You Are Strawberry Cake

Fresh, sassy, and romantic.

You're a total flirt, who never would turn down a sugary treat.

Occasionally you're a bit moody - but you usually stay sweet!

This is one of those posts where I actually wrote an entry of decent length, and then decided to edit and ultimately not post it. One of these days I'm going to actually let someone know what's going on in my head, but it's been so long since I did...

On the upside, I just finished putting together a new playlist on my iTunes.

Busy me!

I've been working on a bunch of things for TBS: MIOS projects, updating my notebook

Tests are of the devil. I had physics on Friday, and I've got neuroscience and Spanish tomorrow.

I'm excited for next fall. :)

I'm sorry if I haven't seemed to be all there this week! My mind's been in a million different directions, and I was sick at the beginning of the week, and tests are about to drive me insane.

Grey's Anatomy is amazing. If you don't already watch it, you should.

I'm pretty sure that I'm technologically deficient, but is that any reason for my cell phone to suddenly die less than an hour after it finished charging? Or for my computer to randomly log off and reboot itself when I'm talking to someone who had tried to call my cell? Seriously. And this is after my head connected quite solidly with the corner of the closet wall.

My daddy sent me roses for Valentine's Day! They're gorgeous.

Yesterday was SOOOO fun! Okay, so I had a really bad streak at bowling, but I still had fun. Laura and I made and decorated cookies, watched Dirty Dancing, had dinner, and just hung out in general. I'm pretty sure she's got blond roots...or maybe it was the drinks we had...nope, blond roots. ;) Oh, the new inside jokes we share.

Anyone out there want to write me a ten page paper on the comparative neuroanatomy of two homologous cognitive brain functions in a human and an animal of your choice?

My one class today was cancelled; it was nice. The only down side was that I didn't know what to do with my day.

I get to meet my potential new roommate tomorrow! I'm excited and nervous about it. I hope that I like her, and that the apartment is clean for when she comes to see it. I've taken care of all of my things, but I just can't clean up after others when I have so much else to do (the aforesaid paper, uniform turn-in, service stuff--chart and MIOS, working out--yay!, major studying for my classes and my upcoming tests...)

I hope everyone had a wonderful week!

This week has been insanely busy and hectic (not that I couldn't have helped make certain people's week better--LAURA). Monday I made cream puffs for rush--which was really fun, but lasted MUCH longer than I thought it would...and cost me a pretty penny in pampering products. I really didn't think that I was going to have the desserts finished and make it on time. I had a huge test in behavioral neuroscience on Wednesday, so I also had a major study session on Tuesday with one of the girls in my class. Then, I had two big tests on Friday in Spanish and Sociology. Then I needed to work (as in I opted to work, nobody made me, but it was still a really good idea) honor band check-in/registration in between the tests on Friday.

Saturday equaled pseudo-relaxation. I've gotten really tired of all the clutter in the livingroom, apparently I'm the only one around here who knows how to take out the trash, I needed to do laundry, I'm in the process of re-organizing my closet, plus I'm working ahead in my classes and taking notes out of my textbooks...not actually relaxing when you think about it. Sunday I'm handing out programs at the honor band concert and studying and organizing/cleaning more

Oh! And all week I've been going to Curves to workout! I'm going to look amazing, even if going does add one more thing to my schedule. Plus, it's great stress relief and it boosts energy!

This next week is uniform turn-in (Lord help us all!), formal rush, Valentine's Day, Drew's birthday, working on things for MIOS, and I've got an essay rough draft due in my neuroscience class on Friday.

It's already February! It just doesn't seem right.

I love posting comments and giving advice. It makes me feel all wise and smart and stuff.

So I went out last night...it was fun. Of course, it meant that I had a twenty hour day with no nap, but I'm thinking it was worth it. Plus I got to dance and have yummy drinks. P.S. Nikki missed out! Me, Kate, Libby, and Morgan had a great time.

You know what I don't like? { SPAM 2,3,4...} emails and homework. At least the latter serves some purpose besides wasting time and causing great frustration and headaches. According to my mailbox, though, I'm single and don't like it, I'm poor and need various types of loans, I need a new car, my sex life needs improving (no comments on this please--if you know me, there needn't be any comment), I'm unemployed and need to get a job, and I need to take more pills for whatever ailment I might possibly contract. I'm mean SERIOUSLY!

Yesterday was wonderful! I'm officially a psych major. I went bowling, and did better than the last game I played. I went out dancing with the girls.

Tomorrow is Friday! Happy early TGIF!

Stressed, frustrated...argh. I love my job, and I'd like to think that I'm good at it. Unfortunately, I don't feel like it. SOOOO, problem is going to be solved. The good news is that I've got some great ideas, the bad...well, people are going to be very busy.

It's about 1 AM, and I have to be on campus at 5:30. In other words if I go to sleep right this second, I'd have about four hours of sleep. I think I'll opt for a nap and sleep on the bus. It's at times like these where I really have to remind myself that I love band.

We've been thinking that the weather here in Alabama's been cold, but I got a message from my mom letting me know that she was having -20 degree wind chills (and let me just say that the wind is pretty much a constant) in Maine. Needless to say, I thanked God I chose to stay in the South and busted out a popsicle.

I love Grey's Anatomy. It's seriously amazing. Seriously.

I'm actually managing to keep a New Year's resolution! Okay, so maybe it hasn't even been four weeks since 07 started, but this one's a big deal for me. For as long as I can remember, in times of stress or worry, I've picked at my nails. No nails equaled stressful week. NOT ANYMORE!!! I'm very proud to say that I have nails, and they AREN'T fake. I'm so proud. I feel prettier with long nails. :-)

I've decided that since Drew gets out of school two weeks before I do he needs to come down and help me move. Personally I think it's a brilliant idea. He can see the McLeods during finals, then he can lift and carry and move all the heavy stuff into storage for me! (I'm still living in the same place, but since I'll be spending the summer with my family, I want to put my things in storage.)

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!

I love Christmas. It's such a happy holiday.

I hope everybody got what they asked for, and if they didn't, then I hope they got wonderful things that made up for the lack of said wanted things.

Note to myself: don't ever share a full-size bed with anyone six inches taller than myself (who also flings body parts and talks in her sleep) and a 65lb. dog. It's just a bad idea, and you end up spending half the night trying to not fall off the bed. (It was actually pretty humorous...if it wasn't Rina's arm smacking me in the face, it was Gidget deciding to stand up and turn around and lay on my legs...)

I love my presents!! I got new clothes from NY&Co., jewelry, my crystal snowflake, a travel tote and PINK thermos, books, and some other assorted things.

Let me know how your Christmases all went! I've been tortured (maybe not tortured--but you get the point!) by the cold and loneliness and I want to know how everyone is!! Plus I like seeing that I have comments on my entries... :)

Maine is really pretty, but VERY, VERY cold. My family has been keeping me busy, and I'm not sure if it's driving me crazy or not. I'm not used to being around four other people like this!! I got a new pair of shoes though! They're so pretty. Drew took me and Rina to see Eragon yesterday--I was impressed (I wasn't sure if I wanted to see it, but it was really good). I just figured I'd write something since I was online and now I do believe. TTFN!

I'm flying to Maine in the morning! The good news is that I know what I'm wearing tomorrow, but I have no clue what all I need to pack! Mom said not to pack much, b/c she's taking me shopping, but I have this suitcase that's only half full!

I've been working on the things I promised the KKPsi brothers. Almost done! I went ahead and completed one, and if I may say so, it looks great. Now that I know how I'm going to put them together, the rest should be easy to turn out.

I want to go see Happy Feet!! It looks so cute! Maybe I'll take Rina when I go home (home being a relative term applied to wherever my momma happens to be located), or we can have Drew take us!

Mic left today for his vacation! Jessica came buy to pick him up, and I made her up a box of cookies and we chatted a little bit about Tuesday night. So I'll see my McFishy/McSwimmy/McBeta after I come back from the break.

I'm going to go work on my current sewing project (one of them) and I'll post the next time I get the chance!

Tonight was so fun!! Darren and I went out Sunday shopping for a present for our little sister, Laura, and we got her this really pretty silver bracelet(think of that Tiffany's style charm bracelet that has a little heart dangling by the clasp-thing). We had it engraved, and tonight we surprised her with it at dinner...oh yeah, and I didn't tell her that he was going to meet us at Olive Garden. She was so surprised! My little sister has the absolute best big brother and sister EVER. :)
